CDBG-Contractors for Demolition and Re-Construction of Existing Project Homes This work will be done utilizing Federal Funds; therefore, Federal Provisions will need to be followed. The City of Corpus Christi (the "City") Planning and Community Development Department ("PCDD") is soliciting proposals and qualifications from contractors that demonstrate the capability and the proven experience to perform general construction and housing rehabilitation services. Services will be provided to third party beneficiaries (qualified homeowners) of the HOME Investment Partnerships program (HOME) and Community Development Block Grant program (CDBG) funds. PCDD plans to create a list of general contractors for upcoming projects. Projects for single-family home rehabilitation, home reconstruction and minor home repairs will be completed by the contractors selected from the list. Respondents may demonstrate capacity for multiple types of rehabilitation and reconstruction. Contracts may range from $1,000 up to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) approved Maximum After Rehabilitation Value per 24 CFR 92.254 (a)(2)(iii). Respondents are not required to qualify for every type of rehabilitation.
