Site work and paving for a civil project in Justice, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
2025 Sanitary Sewer Point Repairs. All paving work within the limits of this project shall be done in accordance with the applicable sections of the current standard specifications for road and bridge construction in Illinois, and all revisions thereto, with the construction notes, and with these special provisions. The standard specifications shall apply only insofar as they relate to materials and workmanship. All proposals or bids offered must be accompanied by a bid bond, cash, or certified check payable to the Village in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amont of the proposal as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted a contract will be entered into and the performance of the contract is properly secured. A performance bond in a sum equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the bid, with sureties to be approved by the Village of Justice for the faithful, performance of the contract must be furnished by the successful bidder. All bids or proposals shall contain an offer to furnish such a bond upon acceptance of such bid or proposal. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of the proposals without the consent of President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Justice for a period of 30 days after the scheduled time of closing bids. The Village reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive requirements in the specifications.
