Renovation of a fire / police facility in Memphis, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Memphis Fire has identified the need to renovate many of our older stations. These renovations would include adding cubicles to the existing open bed halls, providing locker rooms, and retrofitting the stations to more energy efficient LED lighting. Bidders are required to bid on all 6 fire stations. Classification for this Project shall be BC, BC-B Question Deadline 07/22/2025 at 10:00 AM CT Requests for interpretation or clarification must be in writing to designated email addresses: a. Direct written questions to Jeff Eakes, email: jeffe@a2h.com ; and Cc: Patrick Wallis, email: patrickw@a2h.com For bid proposals which exceed $100,000, a bidders bond or certified or cashiers check made payable to the City of Memphis on a solvent bank will be provided in the amount of 5% of the bid. Work shall be completed within two-hundred seventy (270) Calendar Days Upon acceptance of this contract, the contractor agrees to pay the City of Memphis the sum of ($500) per day for liquidated damages for every calendar day that the work remains incomplete beyond The City of Memphis reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in bidding. Addendum #1-#5 have been issued as of 8-7-2025.
