Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Plainfield, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The project includes installing new traffic signals and street lighting at the intersection of Boulevard Place and the Costco Entrance. The project also includes ADA sidewalk improvements and roadway/median modifications at the intersection. Any BIDDER in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the contract documents, shall email all questions to the Engineer - Alex Schaefer, Christopher B. Burke Engineering, Ltd at aschaefer@cbbel.com. All work except PARKWAY RESTORATION - SODDING shall be completed, including all traffic signal/lighting installation, hot-mix asphalt pavement items, concrete installation and punch list/corrective work, by August 31, 2026. Work associated with the special provision for PARKWAY RESTORATION - SODDING shall be completed by September 30, 2026, except that all parkway areas shall be backfilled by August 31,2026. Once work begins, the Contractor shall have 45 working days to substantially complete the work.
