The Town of Blackstone is seeking sealed bids from qualified contractors for the installation of concrete sidewalks, curb and gutter, driveways and drop inlets within the Town of Blackstone. This unit price contract will be for an initial term of one year. This contract may be extended for additional one year terms in accord with the Virginia Public Procurement Act. The Town of Blackstone reserves the right to reject any and all bids. All labor necessary to complete designated project. All material required to complete designated project, including stone and concrete. Stone would be Type 21A, assumed 4" depth, and concrete would be 3000 Psi. If additive is requested by Owner the Contractor is entitled to additional cost. If steel or wire reinforcement is requested by Owner the Contractor is entitled to additional cost. Licenses, permits and insurance certificates required to complete necessary project to include but not limited to the following: Town of Blackstone Business License Certificate of Insurance in the amount of $1,000,000 naming Town of Blackstone as Also Insured Proof of Workers Compensation for all employees Virginia Class A Contractors License applicable for the scope of the project. Utility location required to complete project. Restoration, other than asphalt, required to complete project. Traffic control required to complete project. Demolition and stake-out shall be provided by Owner unless otherwise agreed upon by both parties
