Algona Municipal Utilities (AMU) requests qualification-based proposals from engineering firms for a project selected for funding through the Iowa Grid Resilience Fund by the Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA). The firm selected through this process may begin design immediately. Algona Municipal Utilities requests qualification-based proposals from engineering firms for preliminary/final design, construction services, and project management. The final design and specifications will determine the exact project specifications. Scope of Work: The scope of services that the firm must be prepared and qualified to perform are as follows: All services related to the project development and completion, including, but not limited to, design, survey, construction management, and inspection services, or other services not specified, but as necessary for project completion, as recommended. Statement of Qualifications: Qualifications submitted to Algona Municipal Utilities should include the minimum information: 1. Description of experience with grant programs 2. Description of similar projects the firm has successfully completed 3. Description of organizational capacity to complete all necessary activities, including resumes of all employees who will be or may be assigned to this project. 4. Description of the anticipated timeframe necessary to complete activities 5. References from previous clients of related work within the past five years 6. Description of the firm's errors and omissions coverage, including amount of coverage.
