La Monte Waste Water Improvements - Contract A Description: The proposed work for Contract A generally includes the provision of wastewater improvements to the Southeast Lagoon system related to construction of a nutrient reduction system, an ultraviolet disinfection system with an alternate shelter style roof, control system improvements, effluent flow measurement improvements, emergency power, various site improvements and related work. Also included is minor site work at the Northwest Lagoon. The proposed work for Contract B generally includes organic sludge reduction for the three cells of the Southeast Lagoon System and for the single cell Northwest Lagoon lagoon facilities. Bidders may bid on either or both contracts.
