Clark County Homeless Coalition is seeking bids to construct an addition onto Wainscott Hall Homeless Shelter (25 Wainscott Ave. Winchester, KY 40391) in order to create an ADA Compliant laundry and bathroom, in addition to two office spaces. Due to funder expectations, CCHC is on a tight timeline and anticipates project completion by EOY 2025. It is essential that disturbance to the residents of Wainscott Hall be kept to a minimum as the shelter needs to continually function. SCOPE The project entails: 1. Pull all required permits and complete all work within all applicable codes and laws. 2. Widening the existing entrance to Wainscott Hall while retaining the etched concrete header. 3. Construct the addition per architect drawing (attached). 4. Pour a concrete ADA Compliant entrance ramp while maintain continuity with existing sidewalk. 5. Job site must remain clean, free of debris and presenting no hazard to the public. Construction Start Date August 1, 2025 Project Completion Date December, 20, 2025.
