Demolition, site work, paving and asbestos abatement for a mixed-use development in Winona, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; for the demolition of a multi-residential development; multi-residential development; and for asbestos abatement for a multi-residential development.
according to Bidding Documents prepared by OWA Architects LLC. The project consists of: 1. Abatement of all hazardous materials contained in the building and defined in the Owner's Hazardous Materials Survey. 2. Demolition and removal of existing building. Demolition and removal of all site paving, stoops, and other improvements. 3. Disconnect and cap all utilities at source. Patch and repair street, paving, and lawns as req. 4. Restore all fill, grading, and lawn as indicated on the drawings. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Owner. Each bid must be accompanied by an acceptable form of Bid Guarantee in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total construction bid. Refer to HUD - 5369, Section 9 contained within the Bidding Documents. Attention is called to the fact that no less than the minimum salaries and wages set forth in the Bidding Documents must be paid on this project. The Contractors must take affirmative action to ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, colour, religious, sex, or national origin. The successful Bidders will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory performance and payment bond or bonds, in the penal sum of the full amount of the contract as awarded. Doc note: Deposit is completely refundable if documents are returned to the Architect in satisfactory condition within fifteen (15) days after bid opening. There is an additional $15.00 non refundable charge per set of documents for shipping and handling. Bidding Documents will also be available for downloading at no cost.
