Provide all labor, materials, and equipment to remove approximately 6.82 miles of existing fencing and to construct approximately 9.18 miles of 4-wire cattle/wildlife fence at the Department's Bridgeport Unit at Sagebrush Flats Wildlife Area, located at US Highway 173, Brewster, Washington 98812, GPS Coordinates 47.68521, -119.55645, in Douglas County. If the project is estimated at or above one million dollars, a mandatory 15 percent Apprentice labor hours of the total labor hours are a requirement of this contract. The Apprenticeship Utilization Requirements are identified in Section 00100 Instructions to Bidder. Bidders may contact the Department of Labor & Industries, Apprenticeship Programs. Minority and Women's Business Enterprises (MWBE) are encouraged to participate in the bidding as prime contractors, subcontractors, or suppliers. Bidders may contact the Department of Labor & Industries, Apprenticeship Programs The goal of this project is to construct 4-wire fence to a uniform construction using steel tee posts and steel braces in and along the boundaries of the Bridgeport Unit of the Sagebrush Flats Wildlife Area, located in Douglas County, South of Bridgeport, Washington. This fence project consists of removing 6.82 miles of existing fencing and constructing approximately 9.18 miles of four-strand, smooth and barbed-wire fence. Signs will be provided by Owner; see section 01011 Owner Furnished Items. Some brushing may be required as part of this work. Brushing shall be done on WDFW property only. The new fence includes all gates, stretch braces and end braces and shall be constructed completely on WDFW property. Substantial Completion shall be achieved by December 4, 2025. Final Completion shall be achieved by December 15, 2025 Question Deadline 07/10/2025 at 2:00 PM PT for information or technical questions regarding this project email CAMP.Bids@dfw.wa.gov with the project title and project number in subject line and address questions to the Project Manager. Questions resulting in changes to the scope or nature of the drawings, specifications, or bid documents will be answered by addendum addenda reflective of the Owners process. The Owner may NOT answer questions received after five business days prior to the bid opening.
