TIMELINE: Request for Proposals is underway inviting qualified consulting firms to submit proposals for the development of a Transportation Master Plan (TMP) and a Road Condition Assessment. This initiative will provide a strategic framework to guide future transportation investments, improve mobility, and support sustainable infrastructure planning for the Town's road network. The successful proponent will be responsible for delivering all professional services related to the preparation of the TMP and condition assessment, in close consultation with Town staff. The TMP will be a key policy and planning document that supports informed decision-making and aligns with long-term growth, climate resilience, and asset management objectives. Consultants responding to this RFP are expected to have demonstrated experience in small community transportation planning, integration of multi-modal systems, and conducting pavement condition assessments using best practices and modern technology. Emphasis will be placed on innovative, cost-effective strategies that balance mobility, safety, and sustainability across all modes of travel. TRUE Consulting (TRUE) is serving as the Town's engineer for this RFP, supporting the Town of Osoyoos in the procurement and development of a comprehensive Transportation Master Plan.
