Shenandoah General Construction Annual Bid for Culvert Replacement and Repair All material and equipment furnished and all work performed shall be in strict accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents pertaining thereto. The County reserves the right to delay awarding of the Contract for a period of ninety (90) days after the bid opening, to waive informalities in any bid, or reject any or all bids in whole or in part with or without cause/or to accept the bid that, in its judgement, will serve the best interest of Indian River County, Florida. The County will not reimburse any Bidder for bid preparation costs. Indian River County is seeking to enter agreements with one or more qualified contractors to provide all labor, tools, equipment, and material to construct, repair or replace culverts throughout the County on an as needed basis, including after a disaster such as a hurricane. Individual projects will be assigned via purchase order, based on a quote submitted in compliance with the contract. No minimum or maximum amount of work is promised. The term of this agreement will be two years, with two one-year renewal terms available, subject to vendor acceptance, satisfactory performance, and the County's determination that a renewal would be in its best interest. Public Construction Bonds will be required for each work order/purchase order issued for more than $200,000. The Contractor shall be required to commence services within three (3) calendar days of receipt of the Purchase Order with the completion date to be determined in the submitted proposal for the specific project.
