Project Exterior Repairs Fire Station 1 10 Power Station Road Charlton, MA 01507 1. Remove existing vinyl siding, soffit, and gutters on building. 2. Supply and install exterior house wrap. 3. Supply and install new vinyl siding. Siding to be horizontal double 4, color tbd and chosen from contractor samples. 4. Supply and install new white vinyl soffit and wrap rakes and facia with white metal. 5. Supply and install new gutters and down spouts on front and rear of building. 6. Remove existing windows on the second floor of building. 7. Remove all existing window jambs and window casing. 8. Re-frame as needed to allow for 21 New construction windows all to be approx. 32" wide by 57" tall. Includes widening and lengthening existing openings as needed. Also includes changing one double window in front of the building and one double window in rear of the building to single wide. 9. Supply and install 21 white all vinyl new construction windows in building approx. 32" wide by 57'' tall. 10. Supply and install new primed pine extension jambs and primed pine casing on windows. Includes picture framing casing on windows. 11. Prep, prime and paint new jambs and casings. Includes caulking, filling nail holes, sanding and prepping for paint. Includes priming, and two coats of semi-gloss latex white paint on jambs and casing. 12. Includes touching up paint on walls around windows as needed. 13. Remove existing entry door, supply and install new door and trim. Prep, prime and paint interior and exterior of new door and trim. 14. Scrape, sand and prep as necessary all brick and block on exterior of building to get ready for paint. 15. Replace wood trim boards around garage doors, sand and paint color tbd. 16. Scrape, sand and prep angle iron pieces around each garage door, paint color tbd. 17. Scrape, sand and prep as necessary chimney to get ready for paint. 18. Paint chimney. 19. Paint exterior brick and block on lower portion of building, color TBD. 20. Remove existing front overhang on building. 21. Cut pavement and concrete on front of building by front door. 22. Supply and install 2 techno posts on front for new entry. 23. Supply and install a new concrete pad for the new front overhang. Approx 14' wide by 6' deep. 24. Frame new approx. 14' wide by 6' deep front overhang (Gable roof). Design of overhang to be provided by the Contractor subject to approval by the awarding authority. 25. Supply and install new roofing, siding, soffit and trim per plan for front overhang. 26. Supply and install 3 recess lights in new front overhang. 27. Remove and dispose of all debris created during construction. 28. Install new sign "CHARLTON FIRE DEPARTMENT" 29. Supply and install lights to shine on new sign. The Work comprises the completed project described in the Contract Documents which includes the bid specifications and all related documents; and includes all labor, professional services, transportation, tools, materials, supplies, equipment, permits, approvals, documents, calculations, submittals, and certificates necessary to develop, perform, construct and complete the project in accordance with all applicable laws, ordinances, and regulations, and in accordance with the Contract Documents.
