Site work for a civil project in Wilson, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Wilson desires to stabilize the streambanks immediately downstream of the Wilson Country Club Lake Dam. Scope of work generally will include grading, installation of 180 linear feet boulder toe and soil lifts, 2 boulder vane arms, removal of 144 linear feet of 8" and 12" PVC sanitary sewer pipe, removal of a concrete sanitary manhole, installation of approximately 210 linear feet of 8" PVC and 150 linear feet of 12" DIP sanitary sewer pipe, and revegetation of the site. The City of Wilson is requesting contractors to submit bids for "Country Club Drive Outfall Stabilization + Sewer Line Replacement" including but not limited to the following: Outfall Stabilization along UT to Toisnot Swamp: STA 0+00 to STA 1+11.25 o 110 LF channel and bank stabilization o 2 single-arm boulder vanes o 180 LF soil lifts o Stream Bypass Pumping Sewer Line Replacement: Station 0+10.00 to Station 1+52.21 o 142 LF 12-Inch Dia. DI 401 Coated Gravity Sanitary Sewers o 144 LF 12-Inch Dia. PVC Gravity Sanitary Sewers Removed o 60 LF 24-Inch Dia.
