The project is the for renovation of the existing RCSD1 TV studio Construction Cost Range: $450,000-$550,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Bid Questions must be received by: July 16. 2025 at 3:00 PM All questions must be submitted via email to: Carolyn Hodges Construction Contracts Manager (Email Above). Bidder agrees to substantially complete the Work within 120 Calendar Days Bidder further agrees that from the compensation to be paid, the Owner shall retain as Liquidated Damages the amount of $ 500.00 Bid security is required in an amount not less than 5% of the Base Bid. The successful Contractor will be required to provide Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price The project is the for renovation of the existing RCSD1 TV studio at 1225 Oak Street in the existing RCSD1 Waverly Administration Building. The work includes renovation of the existing RCSD1 TV STUDIO, located within the existing RCSD1 Administration Building at 1225 Oak Street, Columbia SC 29204 The renovation will include demolition of existing wall surfaces, demolition and removal of some items within the current space as shown on the demolition drawings; preparing and installing new acoustical wall covering over existing wood framed wall treatment. Painting of all spaces including dry fall of the existing acoustical ceiling system and pipe grid system; and other finishes as noted. Scope of work also includes, purchase and installation of new TV Sets as shown on the drawings A302. Completion of the work to be completed by December 15, 2025. Addendum #1 has been issued as of 7-17-2025.
