Project: Las Palmas Safety Corridor Project.. The following information is a general outline of the scope of work for this project The City of Patterson is seeking individuals, teams, firms, or a combination thereof interested in providing engineering and design services for the Las Palmas Safety Corridor Project. The Las Palmas Safety Corridor is a corridor near downtown Patterson with immediate need for pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure. The City has obtained funding for the design of this Project through the California Department of Transportation's Local CRP grant to upgrade the pedestrian and micro mobility improvements in this area- this project uses federal funds and must comply with all applicable requirements. The limits of this proposed Project span +-0.64-miles along the corridor that include a portion of Las Palmas Avenue from 9th Avenue to State Route 33, and 6th street from Las Palmas Avenue to F Street. Purpose of the Request: The City invites proposals that include engineering and design services by an appropriately licensed team to work under the direction of City Staff. The selected proposal will 1) exhibit experience in design of public infrastructure and roadway and pedestrian improvements for municipal clients, 2) provide a full range of engineering and design services as they relate to federal and state guidelines (i.e. permits, plans, specifications, and estimates) 3) complete bid package for the entire project, 3) complete bid package for the entire project. The firm awarded this contract will be responsible for including any specifications, contract language, or other material in order to comply with the funding requirements. The Consultant shall review the grant application found in the Attachment section of this RFP to familiarize themselves with the design goals of this project. The attached application provides general planning design and estimates of the project and should NOT be used to dictate the ultimate design or cost estimate for the project.
