One (1) Year Contract for the Supply of Limestone on an As Needed Basis for the Jefferson Parish Department of Engineering. Under the terms of this bid, the potential bidder shall be capable of supplying Jefferson Parish, with the specified quantities, both self-hauled and delivered for a period of twelve (12) months. The response time for both delivery and availability for pick-up and self-hauled shall be twenty four (24) hours. Quantities listed are for bid purposes only and are not to be construed as actual quantities to be purchased over the contract period. The product description indicated on the detailed specifications is for the sole purpose of showing the quality and type of acceptable product. All bids must propose furnishing a product which equals or exceeds the specifications. Material which is found to be substandard as specified herein will be picked up by the contractor and replaced in kind at no cost to the Parish. JEFFERSON PARISH reserves the right to cancel all or any part if not shipped promptly. No charges will be allowed for parking or cartage unless specified in quotation. The order must not be filled at a higher price than quoted. JEFFERSON PARISH reserves the right to cancel any contract at any time and for any reason by issuing a THIRTY (30) day written notice to the contractor.
