Reference Number 0000391462 The successful bidder will be responsible for Street sweeping services at the airport to include roadways, parking lots and aircraft ramp areas. The primary requirement of this contract is that the Contractor have equipment and manpower to perform the services as listed in the Technical Specifications. The contractor must have personnel experienced in street sweeping of the size and nature needed to perform this job. The Contractor shall not subcontract more than Forty nine percent (49%) of the Contract work. In lieu of a performance and payment bond, the County will retain adequate and sufficient security for the faithful performance of this contract which shall be retainage of 5% of all work completed on an annual basis. Upon each annual anniversary, the contractor may request payment of said retainage with the successful completion of all work performed during that period. No Bid Bond is required. it is the goal of the County to use its best efforts to encourage, promote, and increase the participation of business enterprises owned and controlled by persons of color or women - Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Women Business Enterprise (WBE). REMINDER: All required licenses should be submitted with the Bid. The County of Westchester reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bids, or to reject any or all bids.
