The Contractor shall provide grounds maintenance services as described herein. This work shall includethe planning, mowing and trimming operations, fertilization, mulching, removing debris and litter, leaf removal,weeding, and pruning. The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, and management necessary to perform ground maintenance as described herein, at the Washington Aqueduct and satellite installations (approximately 129 acres), in accordance with all terms, conditions, general and special contract requirements, specifications, drawings, attachments, exhibits, etc., contained herein or incorporated by reference. The estimatedquantities listed on the price schedule are a maximum under ideal growing conditions. Actual quantities may be less if drought, flooding, or construction periods are encountered. Period of Performance: The period of performance shall be for one (1) Base Year of 12 months and four (4) 12- month option years. The Period of Performance reads as follows: Phase in 15 days prior to full performance Base Year 27 June 2025 through 26 June 2026 Option Year I 27 June 2026 through 26 June 2027 Option Year II 27 June 2027 through 26 June 2028 Option Year III 27 June 2028 through 26 June 2029 Option Year IIII 27 June 2029 through 26 June 2030 Phase out 30 calendar day period immediately prior to the end
