The project is awarded to the following: General Contractor portion of the WRRF Resiliency Project Contract No:1 to American Contracting & Environmental Services, Inc. (ACE) up to $3,939,000 Electrical portion of the WRRF Resiliency Project Contract No: 2 to Hewitt Young Electric, LLC. up to $687,000 Improvements in the Headworks/Raw Building generally consisting of the following: o Construction of a two-story building expansion o Sawcut & Removal of existing concrete floor sections o New grated flooring system o Grouting within the existing influent channels o Temporary manual screen rack o Demolition & Replacement of 2 new actuated influent channel gates o Removal, Manufacturer Rehabilitation, and Reinstallation existing Bar Screen #1 o Demolition of existing Bar Screen #2 o New Bar Screen #2 o Reconfiguration of existing Washer/Compactor o New Grit Classifier #2 o Installation & Modification of Process Water Piping o Repair & Replacement of various wall openings/ventilation openings/ and windows throughout the building o Interior building finishes o HVAC system improvements o New electrical components and instrumentation o New conduit and conduit banks o Wiring & SCADA Integration of various electrical components o Removal of existing antiquated switches, panels, and other various electrical components Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the total bid, as a guarantee that the bidder will execute the contract and furnish the necessary bonds if the contract is awarded to him/her. A Performance and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the estimated contract price, shall be required from the Successful Bidder.
