Site work and paving for a civil project in Dorchester, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
As of July 11, 2025 this project was awarded to American Asphalt yet the awarded amount is not available. The Work for Which Bids Are Requested Includes the Following: North 4th Street From North of Bus. County Rd. A to Washington Ave. Totaling 3135.5 S.y. Contractor to Pulverize Existing Asphalt to 1.5" Diameter, Fine Grade and Shape to 3% Crown or Grade Road to Drain. Salvaged Material Shall Be Used in Street With Remainder of Material Placed Within Village Limits at Location to Be Determined by the Public Works Manager. Minor Adjustment of Sanitary Sewer Manholes and Water Valves May Be Necessary. Contractor Shall Adjust Manholes and Valve Boxes .5" Inch Below Pavement Grade. Paving Rings Are Acceptable. Contractor Shall Provide 3" of Hma Pavement in One Lift. Proposed Pavement Section Shall Be 34 Feet Wide and 830 Feet Long. Type of Pavement is 4mt 58-28s. The Resultant Thickness Shall Be 3". All Work and Materials Shall Be in Accordance With Wisconsin Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Highway and Structure Construction. The Village of Dorchester Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids or to Accept Any Bid They Deem Most Advantageous to the Village. The Project Shall Be Completed by August 31, 2025, or as Otherwise Submitted on the Bid Form and Agreed Upon by Owner Prior to Contracting.
