Site work for a road / highway in Erie, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The work covered by this specification consists of furnishing all transportation, material, equipment, labor, storage facilities, services and supervision necessary to complete all work in accordance with the contract documents, drawings, specifications, manufacturer/supplier recommendations and as directed by the Engineer. Any additional work must have advance written approval from the Engineer prior to construction. The Contractor is fully responsible for traffic control, project safety, clean-up and restoration. INTERPRETATION. Requests for clarification or any questions or discrepancies shall be directed immediately to LeAnn Parmenter, City of Erie, Bureau of Engineering, 626 State Street, Room 400, Erie, PA 16501, phone number (814) 870-1379, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond in the form of a Corporate Surety Bond, Certified Check, Cashiers Check or Certificate of Deposit in the sum of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Signals Upgrade This project is subject to coverage under the PA Prevailing Wage Act (PWA) and related acts. Contractors bidding shall comply with the City of Erie's MBE and WBE Policy. Bid # 1821-25 will be financed through PA Green-Light-Go Program (GLG) funds, and subject to the requirements of Act 89 of 2013; Title 75. Section 9511(e.1), and the conditions of the City's GLG agreement with PennDOT
