Site work and paving for a civil project in Brookline, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The specific work to be done includes: Culvert Extension - Clear the inlet of the culvert located approximately 300 feet northeast of the intersection of Melendy Pond Road and Second Street. The inlet is currently covered by cinder blocks, which were placed by tenants to help secure the gravel road from collapsing around the inlet. Up to an 8-foot culvert extension (subject to your recommendation once opened) made of concrete or corrugated plastic is required Ditching - Ditching along the east side of Melendy Pond Road from Fourth Street to where the ditch ends just past Second Street. Ditching has not been done for several years, so removal of leaves and other debris is needed. Narrowing Road Width - Over recent years, the width of the road in this area has expanded as a result of repeated grading and plowing. It is now up to 25-feet wide and we would like it brought back to approximately 12-15 feet wide. As part of the ditching on the east side, we would like the width of the road to be narrowed (and ditch widened) with the gravel reclaimed and used to re-establish a crown. Similarly on the west side of the road, we would like the gravel along the edge to be brought back into the primary travel way and used to re-establish a crown Smooth Travel Way - Use a York Rake or other equipment to smooth the work area. Please provide a not-to-exceed bid for the above work. We would prefer to have the work completed by Labor Day, but it must be completed no later than October 1 st. The Town of Brookline is seeking bids to conduct upgrades and maintenance along an approximate 750-foot section of Melendy Pond Road. Melendy Pond Road is a gravel road located off Hood Road in Brookline.
