Site work and new construction of a medical facility in Toronto, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 11-story above grade medical facility; and for site work for a medical facility.
Construction of an 11-storey patient tower at St Joseph's Health Centre which is expected to add over 7,400m2 of institutional space and one underground level, and replace aging infrastructure. Plans call for an expanded Emergency Department, 13 new operating rooms, 38 intensive care beds, 2 full floors dedicated to mental health services and more than 300 new single-patient rooms, each with a private washroom. TIMELINE: Project is in early stages of planning. Method of delivery will be Design-Build-Finance. RFQ for Design-Build Finance is currently targeted January to March 2028. Invited RFP is currently targeted July to September 2028. Contract execution is currently targeted July to September 2029. *A $60 million donation was made towards this project by Peter Gilgan in June 2025.
