The work under this Contract will consist generally of the following: The Construction includes the installation of approximately +- 3,400 LF of 8 PVC C900 water pipe along with approximately 1,700 linear feet of sewer trench cut, and all roadway and drainage im-provement construction necessary for the completion of the neighborhood right of way infrastruc-ture. This includes all appurtenances necessary to complete the job. All work on the Project must be completed within 240 consecutive calendar days of date of notice to proceed. No bid will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City of Reidsville prior to the time set forth above, and accompanied by a Bidder's Bond, payable to the City of Reidsville, Georgia, for 10 percent of the amount of the bid; to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid be accepted and the bidder fail to enter promptly into a written contract and furnish the required Payment Bond and Performance Bond and Insurance Certificates. Bids arriving after the designated time will be returned unopened. QA date - 29 July 2025 In general, no answer will be given to an oral question if the answer involves an interpretation of the intent or meaning of the Contract Documents or Plans, or the equality or use of products or methods other than those definitely designated or described on the Plans or in the Specifications. To receive consideration, such questions shall be submitted in writing to the Engineer at least 7 days before the advertised date for receipt of bids.
