The Project consists of the following work: A Lump Sum contract for completion of painting and improvements to an existing 500,000-gallon legstyle elevated water storage tank. The work will include all interior and exterior surfaces. The tank is a leg-style elevated water storage tank constructed by Phoenix Fabricators and Erectors, Inc., Avon, Indiana and completed in 2001. The tank height from top of foundation to overflow is 178'-6". The tank is located along the west side of S. Olivet Road just north of State highway WW, southeast of the City of Columbia in Boone County, Missouri. Notice to Proceed date for the work is September 2, 2025 Substantial Completion date for the work is October 31, 2025. Final Completion date for the work is November 14, 2025. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. A performance bond and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price, with a surety approved by the Owner, will be required for the faithful performance of the Contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to accept the best bid whether it is or is not the lowest bid and to waive irregularities. The project will be awarded to the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder. No Bidder may not withdraw their bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of the bid opening.
