A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** This document constitutes a request for competitive, sealed proposals for the provision of City Hall AV modernization services for the City of Columbia, Missouri (hereinafter referred to as City) as set forth herein. Questions must be submitted no later than 5:00 p.m. on 7/28/25. All questions concerning the solicitation and specifications shall be submitted in writing via e-mail to the name below. The contractor on a public improvement project costing more than fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00) shall provide to the City, a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, with corporate surety, satisfactory to the purchasing agent, each in an amount not less than the contract price. Contractor shall furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, guaranteeing faithful compliance with all requirements of the contract documents and complete fulfillment of the contract, including payment of all labor, material, and other bills made in carrying out this contract." The Surety Company issuing the bonds shall be authorized to conduct business in the State of Missouri, and carry a rating of A-6 or better as listed in the A.M. Best or equivalent rating guide. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received in response to this RFP, or to cancel the RFP if it is in the best interest of the City to do so. Failure to furnish all information requested in this RFP may disqualify the proposal. Any exceptions to the requirements specified must be identified in the proposal. Any offeror may withdraw his or her proposal at any time prior to the scheduled closing time for the receipt of proposals.
