Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Columbia, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
** As of 10/13/2025 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The City ofColumbia Public Works Department is contracting with a prime contractor for the completion of American Disability Act (ADA) curbs and sidewalk ramps. The project shall include but not limited to removal, repair and replacement improvements of pavement surfaces of all types, base curb, curb and gutter, sidewalks, steps, sign and signal bases, retaining walls, foundation walls, drainage structures, manholes, abandoned sewers, drainage pipes and pipe lines of all types. Other objects or improvements may be included that are not designated to remain in place and are within the grading limit. Contractor hereby agrees to complete the work in the base bid described no later than sixty (60) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Contractor shall agree to allow a deduction of five hundred ($500.00) per calendar day, from final payment as liquidated damages for each day that completion is delayed beyond said completion date established.
