The work includes the furnishing of all labor, material, and equipment necessary or required to complete all work set forth in these Specifications. Estimated quantities for the various tasks are summarized as follows: The work for this project consists of the following items: 1. Demolition - wood frame subfloor and orchestra pit, skylights, skylight curbs, existing CMU partitions. 2. Structural - infill orchestra pit, construct reinforced floor slab, infill skylights, repair/reinforce cracked tectum panel, replacement of roof curb, support roof steel for lighting truss, curtain package and sound equipment. Steel work for curtain support from proscenium beam and CMU wall. 3.Offstage- buildout, framing, sheetrock, ceiling, finishes, furniture, fixtures & equipment. 4. ADA restrooms, ADA wheelchair lift, material/equipment lift. 5. Provide curtain package as denoted in plans and specifications. 6. Demolish and replace ductwork. 7. Electric - Demolish existing temporary power and lighting. Construct new distribution and circuiting, lifts, exhaust fans and receptacles. Install new lighting fixtures complete. Extend power supply from existing. 8. Fire protection - Install new fire alarm devices, sprinkler heads, piping, etc. Extend Fire protection main. 9. Plumbing - Construct two bathrooms with showers and one restroom without a shower. Install new fixtures. 10. Provide furnishings. The above description of work outlines the general items and distribution of work and should not be construed as being allinclusive. Question Deadline 07/11/2025 at 5:00 PM ET Any explanation desired by bidders regarding the meaning or interpretation of the drawings and specifications must be requested to the Engineer in writing and with sufficient time allowed for a reply to reach them before the submission of their bids. Bids must be made on the standard Proposal form in the manner designated therein, and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside, addressed to Willingboro Township, and must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Bid Bond or Cashier's Check drawn to the order of Willingboro Township for ten percent (10%) of the total amount bid, provided said security need not be more than $20,000.00. All bid guarantees shall be accompanied by an executed consent from an approved surety company, licensed to conduct business in the State of New Jersey, agreeing to furnish the required Performance, Payment and Maintenance Bond upon the award of contract. The signed Proposal forms and bid security must be delivered to the place on or before the hour named above. The accepted bidder must sign the contract within ten (10) days after the Notice of Award or forfeit his bid security. Bid securities will be returned to all but the three apparent lowest responsible bidders. All other bid securities will be returned after awarding and signing of the contract and approval of the Contractor's Performance Bond. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. The right is reserved to reject any or all Proposals, in whole or in part, or to make awards to such bidder or bidders, who, in the judgment of the Township of Willingboro makes the most advantageous bid and to waive such informalities as may be permitted by law.
