As of August 25, 2025, the project was awarded to Verzani Farms LLC, with an awarded amount of $28,363.62. The project consists of the demolition, removal, and disposal of existing floating docks, including appurtenant utilities and structures. The existing fuel pump shall be removed and salvaged to owner. All other site items within the park are to be preserved and protected. Anything removed and disposed of from the lake must be safely disposed of to stop the spread of invasive species (i.e. zebra mussels). Bidding Documents and must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the total Bid, made payable to the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission as Bid security. Bid security shall be considered as liquidated damages and forfeited to the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission if the Bidder's proposal is accepted and the Bidder fails to execute the contract and provide the required bond(s) and insurance specified. No Bid Bond will be required if the total project cost is less than $50,000.00. Bidder is required to furnish a Performance Bond in the full amount of the contract sum at the time of contract award if the total project cost exceeds $50,000. No Performance Bond will be required if the Independent Contractor is willing to take a single lump-sum payment once all work has been completed and accepted by the Engineering Division of the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission unless the total project cost exceeds $100,000 at the time of contract award.
