Bidders Must Submit Prior to Awarding of a Contract a Statement Indicating That They Will Work Toward a Minority Workforce Goal of 25% And a Women Workforce Goal of 5%. In Addition, a Statement Must Be Submitted Prior to the Awarding of a Contract Indicating That the Bidder Will Work Toward a Business Utilization Goal for Minority Business Enterprise of 25% and Women Business Enterprise of 5%. No questions or inquiries regarding this bid will be accepted within three (3) business days prior to the bid opening Question Deadline 07/04/2025 It is the intent and purpose of these Contract Documents and accompanying Contract Drawings to describe the work under this contract. The Summary of Work for above listed project includes: a. SUMMARY OF WORK J:\2023\J1\0010 Buffalo (C) - Parks Term\BG 10 Peter Street Park\Specs\01100 Summary ofWork.doc Base Bid: Install Modular Futsal and Basketball Sprots System. Basis of Design is Musco 50' x 84' Mini-Pitch System and court cleaning and resurfacing. Install City of Buffalo Park rules signs. Install removable bollards with Division of Parks standard "Masterlock" key 2752 for each proposed bollard. Contractor shall also furnish to City of Buffalo six (6) additional standard Parks pad locks. Install and/or relocate landscape boulders. Any other work shown on drawings. Alternate No. 1: Install City of Buffalo standard backed benches and concrete pads. Install various trees as shown on plans. All trees to include a two year warranty. Alternate No. 2: Full depth demolition and reconstruction of existing asphalt court. Alternate No. 3: 2" Mill and Overlay of pathways as shown on Drawings. The CONTRACTOR shall return to original condition, satisfactory to OWNER and ENGINEER, any damaged property, equipment, or facilities caused by the CONTRACTOR'S operations at the CONTRACTOR'S expense. It is the CONTRACTOR'S responsibility to develop a work plan and a schedule detailing, at a minimum, the procedures to be employed for all major items of work, the equipment and materials to be used, the safety plan to be used during the work, and a schedule defining the duration of the work and length of temporary shutdowns with milestone subtasks. The work plan shall be submitted to the OWNER and ENGINEER for approval a minimum of 30 days prior to the scheduled commencement of work. Upon review by the OWNER and ENGINEER, the CONTRACTOR shall attend a meeting to finalize the work plan and schedule. Bid item quantities within the itemized proposal are approximate values. The CONTRACTOR is to determine quantities required by reviewing the Contract Documents and performing site walkthroughs. If the CONTRACTOR discovers any discrepancies, they are to notify the OWNER and ENGINEER in writing during the bidding process. City of Buffalo Parks as listed below: 1. Peter Street Park - 1548 Elmwood Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14207 1.2 WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT DOCUMENTS 1.1 SITE LOCATION The City of Buffalo Standard Specifications are considered part of the Contract Documents and can be purchased in Room 502 at City Hall. Standard NYSDOT items are also referenced, it is the Contractor's responsibility to be knowledgeable of these specifications, NYSDOT specifications are not included in this specification book. The Contractor is required to obtain a copy of these specifications and keep a copy on site during construction along with a copy of the Contract documents
