Site work for a transportation facility in Gautier, Mississippi. Conceptual plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
The selected Engineer shall complete engineering services in accordance with applicable State and Federal laws, regulations and procedures. Engineer shall provide professional engineering services, including serving as the Owner's professional engineering representative for the Project, and providing professional engineering consultation and advice. Activities will include engineering services for performing preliminary engineering and planning support of the project and future phases, topographical surveying, geotechnical investigation, property acquisition services, and plans and specifications for the project which will consist of a gradeseparated CSX crossing to replace the existing at-grade crossing at Dolphin Drive. The selected firm shall provide engineering services related to the scope of work described: Project development activities to design a grade-separated crossing to replace the existing at-grade crossing at Dolphin Drive. Firms/Individuals must submit the name of the primary contact person and the person within the firm (if applicable) who shall be the Owner's contact and party primarily responsible for rendering services, if selected. Any contract awarded under this solicitation may be paid for in whole or in part with grant funding from the Railroad Crossing Elimination Program (RCE) - US Department of Transportation Federal Railroad Administration, and the City of Gautier. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, and to waive informalities in proposals, and select the proposal or proposals that, in the opinion of the City shall be the most qualified proposal based on financial responsibility, technology, legal responsibilities, experience, background, qualifications, answers to the attachments, compliance and acceptance of the terms contained in the RFQ and other relevant factors. Minority and women's business enterprises are solicited to submit a statement of qualifications and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities. When subcontracting, all potential contractors must make positive efforts to use small and minority-owned businesses and women business enterprises. See 2. C. F. R. 200.321.
