Participation Requirements - Minority Business Participation - Small Business Participation - Women-Owned Business Participation General Requirements - Contractors License Required - Federally Funded - Insurance Required - License Required Award Requirements - All or None Award The Successful Bidder shall provide all labor, materials, equipment , all and any necessary permits, and surveys, to furnish and install to furnish and install hurricane impact resistant windows, doors, louvers, and exhaust pans at City of Miami Fire Station No. 6, located at 701 NW 36 Street, Miami, FL 33127, and Fire Station No. 8, located at 2975 Oak Avenue, Miami, FL 33133 Provide protection of work site, inclusive of surrounding areas against damage (i.e., barricades, caution tape, windscreens, etc.); 2. Provide the construction and removal of any temporary access to site (if applicable); 3. Remove and dispose of off-site six (6) existing metal roll up bay doors at Fire Station No. 6 and five (5) metal roll up bay doors at Fire Station No. 8, and replace with wind and impact rated bay doors that meet or exceed Florida and South Florida building codes; 4. Remove and dispose of off-site forty-one (41) existing windows at Fire Station No. 6 and forty-five (45) windows at Fire Station No. 8 and replace with wind and impact rated aluminum frame windows that meet or exceed Florida and South Florida building codes; 5. Remove and dispose of off-site eleven (11) existing exterior doors at Fire Station No. 6 and twelve (12) exterior doors at Fire Station No. 8 and replace with wind and impact rated doors that meet or exceed Florida and South Florida building codes; 6. Remove and dispose of off-site eight (8) existing metal louvers at Fire Station No. 6 and five (5) metal louvers at Fire Station No. 8 and replace with wind and impact rated louvers that meet or exceed Florida and South Florida building codes; 7. Remove and dispose of off-site two (2) existing exterior exhaust fans at Fire Station No. 6 and three (3) exterior fans at Fire Station No. 8 and replace with wind and impact rated exhaust fans that meet or exceed Florida and South Florida building codes; 8. Verify all measurements, types, and amounts of doors, windows, louvers, bay doors and exhaust fans to be replaced; 9. Provide all Notice of Acceptance ("NOA") documentation certification of performance and acceptance; 10. Provide schedule of values and construction timeline prior to commencement of work; 11. Coordinate all work with Project Manager or designee to diminish interruption of daily and emergency operations; 12. Secure all openings at the end of the workday; 13. Deploy dust control measures; 14. Seal exterior and interior and repair with stucco or framed to match existing conditions; 15. Remove all debris on a daily basis; 16. Leave site in ready for use conditions All interpretations of the scope of work/specifications shall be made upon the basis of this statement.
