Matagorda County (Blessing) Water Plant A. The Contractor shall furnish, erect and test the tank on a sand or concrete foundation, as required by AWWA D100-11. The Contractor shall be completely responsible for the design and construction and for the integrity and satisfactory performance of the tank during the guarantee period. The tank shall conform to AWWA D100-11, including Section 14, to the latest edition, and to the requirements of the plans and these Specifications. The supplier shall submit for approval complete and detailed plans for the tank and appurtenances. B. The welded steel tank shall have a nominal capacity of 84,000 gallons. It shall have a nominal diameter of 30 feet and a nominal height of 16 feet. The reservoir shall be provided complete with all pipe connections, access openings, nozzles, taps, drains, ladders, vent, and other accessories as shown on the plans or required herein. The project will consist of Water Plant Improvements to include a nominal 84,000 gallon GST, a 10,000 gallon pressure tank, two booster pumps, pump building, piping, electrical site work, fence and appurtenant items for Matagorda County (OWNER). The CONTRACTOR shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, services and supervision necessary to perform all the work shown on the Drawings and described in the Specifications and shall deliver the work complete in all respects and in full accordance with the Contract Documents. All incidental services and materials which may be reasonably inferred as necessary to accomplish the intended end result shall be provided by the CONTRACTOR whether or not specifically shown on the Drawings or itemized in the Specifications.
