Reference Number 0000391695 The project that is the subject of these Instructions consists of the replacement of two Lochinvar Copper-Fin2 pool heaters with higher efficiency pool heaters. The Offerors shall evaluate current heating needs and properly size new high-efficiency pool heaters for both the indoor and outdoor pools based on current usage and pool volumes. Offerors shall be responsible for the removal of existing heaters and their proper disposal. One unit is used for the indoor pool, which is 243,304 gallons, and is 1,800,000 btu/hr. The other heater is for the outdoor pool, which is 136,375 gallons, and is 1,260,000 btu/hr. The replacement heaters shall be Raypack, Lochinvar, and Laars or comparable brands. We would like to schedule the installation of the new water heaters during our upcoming maintenance week, which is currently set for September 7th through September 14th, 2025. During this period, both pools will be shut down. The indoor pool will be drained, refilled with fresh water, and reheated in time for a 5:30 AM reopening on September 14th, 2025. If it is not feasible to complete the equipment delivery and installation within that week, we would like to explore an alternative schedule. Specifically, we propose plumbing the outdoor pool heater with a bypass to temporarily heat the indoor pool while the indoor heater is being replaced.
