Demolition, site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Newberg, Oregon. Completed plans call for the demolition of a sidewalk / parking lot; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Bid Bond 5% SCOPE OF WORK/STATEMENT OF WORK/SPECIFICATIONS The successful bidder will complete the following steps in two phases: Phase 1 the removal of all the failing brick from the work site and replacement with concrete. The bike racks will be saved so as to be reinstalled later. Poured cement will be used to re-build the entrance way to the building following the same contours and slopes that exist today. This is a mixture of flat work seven steps and a ramp. The current angles and steps have been measured, and they conform to ADA standards so the new layer should follow the same gradients and positions of the current brick work. Hand rails will be re-used if possible. Brick that does not break during removal shall be kept for nostalgia reasons. The brick will be placed in a set location indicated by the owner. The bike racks will be re-installed with new bolts in the concrete. When phase 1 is complete the successful bidder will move on to phase 2. Phase 2 the construction of two ADA ramps. The current non-conforming ADA ramps will be demolished and replaced by two new modern ADA ramps conforming to our engineering standards. Any damage to the curb caused by this work will be rectified. The location of these is immediately adjacent to the landing of the steps and is shown in Appendix A. The contractor will be responsible for returning the site to a pristine condition after the job is complete. This includes the removal of all broken bricks and detritus left over from the job.
