University is seeking responses from environmental consultants qualified to provide various campus wide environmental testing and consulting services on an as needed basis at all UTSA Campuses. The University of Texas at San Antonio ("University" or "UTSA") is soliciting responses in response to this Request for Proposal ("RFP") from suppliers ("Respondents") qualified in providing goods and/or services more particularly described in the scope of work contained in Section 5 of the RFP. The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) specializes in cyber, health, fundamental futures, and socioeconomic development. With more than 35,000 students, it is the largest university in San Antonio, UTSA is rising to new heights as one of 21 universities nationwide that are designated as Hispanic Service Institutions and hold a prestigious Tier One classification of research excellence. The University of Texas at San Antonio (the "University") was established in 1969 as a public institution of higher education. The University serves the San Antonio metropolitan area and the broader region of South Texas through programs and services offered from its campuses: 1604 Campus, Downtown Campus, the Institute of Texan Cultures, Southwest School of Art and the Park West Athletic Complex. With over 35,000 students enrolled in undergraduate and graduate degree programs, the University is the second largest institution in the University of Texas System and has been one of the state's fastest-growing public universities for much of the last decade. The University offers bachelor's, master's and doctoral degree programs and is a research-intensive institution committed to discovery and innovation. The University's 600-acre campus near the intersection of Loop 1604 and Interstate 10 borders the Texas Hill Country and is just a 20-minute drive from downtown San Antonio.
