Pavement Improvements at Stevenson and Churchill Schools Bids must be submitted on the provided proposal forms and be accompanied by certified check, cashier's check or bid bond drawn to the order of the "Fairfield Board of Education" for not less than Ten Percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, but in no case in excess of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00). Bid securities shall comply with N.J.S.A. Bids shall include a Certificate of Consent of Surety obligating the issuing surety company to provide the bidder and its subcontractors, if successful, with a New Jersey Statutory Performance Bond and a New Jersey Statutory Payment Bond each in the full amount of the contract. Bidders shall submit a Certificate of Prequalification/Classification from the DPMC and Affidavit as to the Total Amount of Uncompleted Contracts for the bidder and all major subcontractors. Bidders must be pre-qualified by the DPMC in one of the following categories, pursuant to N.J.S.A. The Board reserves the right to reject all bids, to waive any immaterial defects in any bid, or to award a lump sum contract, in accordance with the requirements of the public school contracts law at N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-1 et seq.
