Sealed proposals are requested for "Sand Road Milling and Resurfacing." Specifications, bid forms, contracts, and bonds for the proposed work are available at the office of the Municipal Engineer and may be inspected during regular business hours. Bids must be submitted on standard proposal forms as specified in the requirements. Each bid must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, labeled with the bidder's name and address and the project name. Bids must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond for at least ten percent (10%) of the bid amount, not less than $500.00 and not greater than $20,000.00, along with a consent of Surety statement for a 100% performance bond if awarded. A Non-Collusion Affidavit and a Record of Recent Contract Awards must also be included with the proposal. Bids can be submitted in person, by mail to the specified address, or hand-delivered prior to the deadline. Bidders must comply with all statutory requirements, including submitting a statement regarding stockholders with a 10% or greater interest, providing proof of registration, and certifications regarding certain investment activities. Bids may not be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after opening. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, reject unbalanced bids, and waive informality. Traffic Directors will be by uniformed police personell provided by and paid directly by the Township. Project entails the milling, resurfacing, re-striping of exiting roadway. Miscellaneous work includes new ADA compliant handicap ramps and additional signage. 3.
