Completed plans call for the renovation of a 18,000-square-foot educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; for the addition of a educational facility; for the construction of a educational facility; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Project The Owner, Newburgh Enlarged City School District, will receive sealed bids to furnish materials and labor to complete the Sitework Construction and General Construction scopes associated with sitework, drainage, grading, retaining walls, parking lots, interior/exterior renovations, construction of 18,000 square foot masonry-clad addition and associated phased temporary construction, fire service, and associated work specified within the 2019 Bond Project. Each Bidder must deposit a Bid Security in the amount and form per the conditions provided in Instructions to Bidders. All Bids will remain subject to acceptance for forty-five (45) days after the Bid opening. Owner may, in its sole discretion, release any Bid and return Bid Security prior to that date. A full performance bond, together with labor and material payment bonds in a form acceptable to the Owner, shall be required of the successful Bidder for the full contract amount. The bid shall be on a stipulated sum basis for the following Contracts: Multiple Prime Contract Project consisting of the following Prime Contracts will coordinate their work with already-awarded Prime Contractors: o General Construction GC-01 o Sitework Construction SC-01 Bids shall not include New York State sales and compensating use taxes on materials and supplies incorporated into the Work, the Owner being exempt therefrom. Plan holders who have paid for hard copies of the bid documents will need to make the determination if hard copies of the addenda are required for their use and coordinate directly with the printer for hard copies of the addenda to be issued. There will be no charge for registered plan holders to obtain hard copies of the bid addenda. The award of the bid pursuant to this notice is subject to the appropriation of funds for this purpose in accordance with the applicable provisions of the General Municipal Law. All bids must meet the requirements of the General Municipal law of the State of New York and all other applicable statutes and have attached a statement of non-collusion The Newburgh Enlarged City School District reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bids received, or to reject all Bids without explanation.
