The descriptions that follow are provided for general reference and understanding only. The specific scope of work to be provided shall be as described in the Contract Documents and individual Trade Category Forms of Proposal. Project Description: This project consists of ~126,000 square feet in additions and ~ 102,000 square feet in heavy renovations. Major demolition will occur when tearing down a large portion of the existing school, which will be where ~88,000 square feet will be built back. This project is very complex and will take 4 phases over 3.5 years to complete. The site will undergo a variety of changes as well, one being a geothermal field consisting of ~180 wells. Contractors are to include costs to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond for 100% of the bid amount and a 5% Bid Security. All questions are to be submitted in writing to Cameron Mathis (cmathis@wehrconstructors.com) no later than noon on 7/16/2025. The Owner and/or Wehr Constructors reserve the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all formalities and/or technicalities where the best interest of the Owner may be served. Final awarding will be made on the basis of the lowest, responsive and responsible bid which offers the best value to the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to select bids based on their best interest and reserve the right to accept and reject any bids they deem necessary for any reason. All questions regarding the meaning or interpretation of the Bidding Documents shall be directed in writing to the designated individual at Wehr Constructors referenced in the Invitation to Bid. Questions received less than ten (10) calendar days prior to the date for receipt of Bids are not guaranteed to be answered.
