Site work for a water / sewer project in San Jose, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Description of Work: The Project generally involves upsizing approximately 158 LF of existing 15-inch diameter VCP sewer main to 21-inch diameter VCP along S White Rd between Westgrove Ln and Westbranch Dr, and installing approximately 50 LF of new 12-inch diameter VCP sewer main at the intersection of S White Rd and Aborn Rd. Additionally, three standard sanitary sewer manholes will be removed and replaced and one new standard sanitary sewer manhole will be constructed. Each bid must be accompanied by an electronic pdf copy of a bidder's bond in the sum of not less than 10% of the total aggregate amount of the bid. Bonds must be issued by a surety that is an "admitted surety insurer" in the State of California and must name the City of San Jose as beneficiary. Bonds must be accompanied by an electronic pdf copy of the surety's power of attorney and a notary acknowledgement for the surety's signature. Bidders must retain the original wet-signed bidder's bond and provide it to the City upon request.
