Site work and paving for a civil project in Westernport, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Description: This project, located in Allegany County, is a slope stabilization project on MD 135 near Luke, Maryland. Beginning approximately 1600' east of the Garrett County line and extending 1,550 feet towards Grant Street. The work will consist of the following: (a) Scaling and Trimming. (b) Removal and Disposal of Rock Debris. (c) Shallow Anchor Stabilization. (d) Deep Anchor Stabilization. (e) Steel Mesh Stabilization. (f) Maintenance of Traffic. (g) Drainage Maintenance. (h) Erosion and sediment control. Counties: Allegany Classification: F - $5,000,001 - $10,000,000 Funding: Federal F.A.P. Number: AC-STBG-206-1(035)E Bid Security shall equal at least five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. Also, the successful bidder will be required to supply Payment and Performance Bonds for all Contracts in excess of $100,000.00. The MDOT SHA reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
