SPORTS COURTS PROJECT - Includes the labor, materials, and equipment necessary to pave a pickleball court and basketball court, and install a pickleball net, basketball hoops and 12-foot high chain link fencing with two (2) 6-feet wide single gates. Also included is an add alternate bid for additional pavement and fencing. Proposals must be on the forms furnished by the Borough Engineer. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price, made payable to West Middletown Borough. Liquidated damages will apply at the rate of $500.00 per calendar day. Bids may be held by West Middletown Borough for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding the contract. West Middletown Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals or any portion thereof. Attention of Bidders is called to the requirements concerning the payment of not less than the prevailing wage and salary rate provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442 for the project. Awarded bidder shall provide 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond and 100% Maintenance Bond for the project. Checks are to be made payable to Harshman CE Group, LLC, and are non-refundable.
