Constructing 1st Street Parking Lot Retaining Wall The Madison County Road Department is accepting bid proposals for Constructing a Concrete Retaining Wall at the First Street Parking Lot in Richmond, KY. The objective of this RFP is to select the most competitive and qualified vendor that can construct a concrete retaining wall for the First Street parking lot in Richmond, KY. Mandatory Proposal Requirements: Interested vendors are requested to submit the following formation as part of their proposal: The wall will be 194 feet long and range from 6 feet tall on one end, and 4 feet tall on the opposite end. The wall will be 12-inch thick and must be poured on a 12-inch footer. The wall will require proper anchoring and drains for ground water escape. The Madison County Road department will provide prior excavation, backfilling, rock and asphalt, once the wall is completed. This bid is to include all materials, forms, and concrete needed for the footer and retaining wall. Bids Shall Be Accepted at Which Point They Will Be Opened and Publicly Read at the Courthouse Annex in the Madison County Judge/executive's Office. The County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. After opening of the proposal responses, a Respondent may not correct, modify, or withdraw the price or any other provision of its response in a manner prejudicial to the interests of the County or fair competition without prior written approval from the County. The County may waive minor informalities or allow the Respondent to correct them.
