SCOPE OF WORK Classroom & Interior Adjustments This project includes interior renovations to support the conversion of Kiser Middle School into an elementary school. The scope includes the following items: 1. Restroom Modifications - Add step stools to urinals and sinks. 2 Door Hardware Adjustments - Ensure door handles and locks are operable for younger children 3. Signage Updates - Update room signage and wayfinding signs to reflect elementary school use, including visual cues, if needed. 4 Interior Painting of Entire T* Floor - Painting required, including doors, using J'GCS Bone White" Lead paint testing will be needed where applicable Touch-up windowsills as needed 5. Flooring - Inspect classroom flooring and replace where necessary. 6 Ceiling Work & Testing - General: Add ceiling material testing to the scope as needed (Rooms A112 & 0312). 7. Windows - Install Semi blackout roller shades or blinds in rooms where necessary 8 Wall Damage - Check for Wall damage (Room 318) Prices and any other entry made hereon by the bidder shall be considered firm and not subject to change or withdrawal. Bidder also certifies under penalty of perjury that this bid has not been arrived at collusively and that he has not violated any Federal or North Carolina antitrust laws. Per below Specifications and Instructions to Bidders, vendors are to supply all labor and materials to complete the Classroom & Interior Adjustments at: Kiser Swing Space. The Board of Education awards public contracts without regard to race, religion, color, creed, national origin, sex, age or handicapped condition as defined by North Carolina General Statutes, Section 168A-3. (Guilford County Schools is NOT tax exempt). The Guilford County BOE Reserves the right to reject any or all bids presented and to waive any informalities and irregularities. Guilford County Schools reserves the right to award this project in part or in whole, whichever is deemed to be in the best interest of the district. The award is contingent upon availability of funds.
