Renovation of a residential development in Falmouth, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

The FALMOUTH HOUSING AUTHORITY, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors for the Vacant Unit Rehab Unit 2A at State Aided Development: Mayflower (667-1) in Falmouth, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by MARQUIS ARCHITECTURE, LLC. The Project consists of but not limited to: Interior finish, fixture, casework and equipment upgrades. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.149 26 to 27H inclusive. General bids and sub-bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (including all alternates) and made payable to the FALMOUTH HOUSING AUTHORITY. Note: A bid deposit is not required for Projects advertised under $50,000. The Contractor and all subcontractors (collectively referred to as "the Contractor") agree to strive to achieve minority and women workforce participation. The Workforce Participation benchmark is set at 6.9% for women and 15.3% for minorities. The Workforce benchmark percentages are a statutory requirement under MGL c. 149 44A(2)(G). The project consists of interior finish, fixture, and casework upgrades for unit 2A at 238 Lakeview Ave in Falmouth, MA (a multi-family residential complex). The unit is a ground floor unit with direct access from the exterior. It will be vacant for the renovation, but adjacent units will be occupied. This project includes demolition, disposal and replacement with new for doors, floor, casework and select fixtures. The unit has been tested for hazardous materials, and asbestos has been identified in the joint compound. Refer to specifications for treatment
