Renovation of a laboratory facility in Falmouth, Massachusetts. Working plans call for the renovation of a laboratory facility.

DESCRIPTION A. The Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC) Woods Hole, MA Laboratory is located at 166 Water Street, Woods Hole, MA 02543. B. The Technical POC (TPOC) for this requirement will be identified at the time of contract award. C. The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), a part of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) of the Department of Commerce (DOC), is a governmental agency charged with the mission of stewardship for living marine resources. D. The Contractor shall be fully knowledgeable of all requirements detailed in this Statement of Work and the solicitation. E. The Contractor shall verify all dimensions and equipment prior to submitting bid quotation in accordance with solicitation requirements. F. This project involves the removal and replacement of 65 existing commercial-grade windows of varying sizes at the Main Building Laboratory Woods Hole, MA. The purpose of the project is to improve energy efficiency, functionality, and aesthetics while ensuring compliance with current building codes and safety regulations. G. All equipment, equipment rentals, material, manpower, permits, testing, and fees shall be the responsibility of the contractor. H. The Contractor shall have a minimum 3 years of verifiable experience installing commercial windows. Magnitude: Between $100,000 and $250,000 NAICS Code: 238350 (Finish Carpentry Contractors) Set-Aside: Small Business Applicable Regulation: Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2025-04 Wage Determination: Davis-Bacon Act WD #MA20250003 Site Visit Encouraged but not mandatory Refer to FAR Provision 52.236-27, Alternate I in the RFQ for details.
