Remodeling of a communication facility in Falmouth, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the remodel of a one-story above grade communication facility.
The scope of work requires installing low voltage cabling at all Steamship locations including Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. The work involves installing, terminating, and testing low-voltage network cabling, including but not limited to Cat6 for data and fiber optic OM4. Project details are further described in the bid documents. Bidders must submit a bid deposit equal to five percent (5%) of the total contract price, in an acceptable form such as a bid bond, cash, or certified check payable to the Woods Hole, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket Steamship Authority. The contractor must pay prevailing wage rates as specified by the Massachusetts Department of Labor and Workforce Development's Division of Occupational Safety. The Steamship Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids, modify or amend bids with the consent of the bidder prior to acceptance, and to waive any informality as deemed in the public interest.
