The contract term shall be one (1) year with two (2) one-year renewal options. Payment terms are net 30 days upon receipt of an approved invoice. Invoices must be itemized by program type (e.g., Project-Based, Section 8, Mainstream, DIAL, FYI, State MRV BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE The FHA administers approximately 550 Housing Choice Vouchers, including Project-Based and Section 8 vouchers (Standard, Mainstream, and specialty HUD-approved vouchers such as DIAL and FYI). HUD requires PHAs to ensure assisted units meet HQS to maintain decent, safe, and sanitary housing. The purpose of this RFP is to obtain a qualified vendor to perform initial, annual, and special inspections (including complaint and emergency inspections) and to provide accurate, timely documentation compatible with PHA-Web A. Inspection Categories and Estimated Volume Type of Inspection Description Estimated Annual Quantity Initial Initial, change of units, transfers 150-200 Annual Recurring inspections for active participants 300-400 INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS Commercial General Liability: $1,000,000 per occurrence / $2,000,000 aggregate. Automobile Liability: $1,000,000 combined single limit. Workers Compensation: Statutory (if applicable). Owner-operators with no employees may provide certification of exemption.
